Stories shape us. Questions change us.

Welcome to A Note from Nim ✍️ - a space to explore how we live, work, and grow through the stories we carry and the questions that guide us.

What You’ll Find Here

This is a digital campfire for thoughtful humans seeking more depth, meaning, and moral beauty.

We reflect across three guiding threads:

Identity & StoryWho am I becoming?
Work & Reinvention — What does a meaningful life look like now?
Time & Wisdom — What truths only land with time and lived experience?

Here, we ask the questions that spark reflection and re-authoring of the stories you carry.

We explore how storytelling brings us closer — to ourselves, and each other.

And we reimagine our relationship with time, purpose, and identity.

You’ll feel at home here if:

  • You’re navigating a turning point and asking deeper questions

  • You crave honest stories and slow wisdom

  • You want to live with more courage, clarity, and care

  • You’re curious about narrative practices and the power of storytelling

A Note from Nim ✍️

Hi, I’m Nim - a narrative practitioner, writer, and strategic advisor. But the title that matters most to me is simply: human.

A Note from Nim is my thought lab - a place where narrative nerding meets soul inquiry.

See you at the campfire,

Nim de Swardt

I acknowledge the traditional owners of the land, the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung country. I pay respect to Aboriginal elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the Ancestors and Elders who were and continue to be the storytellers of this land and its people. Your care for this country and commitment to sharing stories across the generations for over 60,000 years deeply influences and inspires us all.
